Jinn 93x Archives This movement exposed a photograph of Jinn 93x—dressed in a skin-tight outfit leaving little to the imagination. Within mere moments I was asked to take off the lenses, and they, along with the framed photograph were placed inside the bag. Standing up, and then from the bag, withdrawing what looked like three magazines that he placed before me, announced, "Please feel free to occupy your time perusing this literature." He then took the bag and exited the door he had entered. I spread out the literature and observed the following titles "Royal Rantings," "Ladeeran Technological Advances Today," and the last, a thin, black-colored binder with a white label with block printing stating "Collectorate/Conglomerate Goals and Achievements." In some ways, I felt as though I was Norman Bates at the end of the movie, where he continues to think to himself, `what will they think of me if I do this, or this?' My inquisitive nature from all I had learned since arriving at Lakuna was to grab for the item that dealt with Collectorate/Conglomerate activities. (I cannot be sure when I learned that the terms Collectorate and Conglomerate were synonymous. Depending on what aspect of the organization different ones worked for, they either referred to the group as the Collectorate, or the Conglomerate. I had become used to hearing either terms used interchangeably.) I realized that looking at the magazine dealing with the Collectorate/Conglomerate would have been what I would have desired looking in to, that would undoubtedly not be in line with someone who was of Royalty, and had not been in contact with Royal goings-on since beginning this trek to locate Jinn/Shara. I therefore picked up the magazine dealing with the Royal gossip. The tabloid-type, cheap paper tell-all contained numerous photographs and articles featuring Royalty—suspected romances, biographies, and sultry intrigues. While this information was as interesting to me as the composition of snail slime, for the benefit of the suspected surveillance of my actions I reacted to the magazine by frequently shaking my head, or audibly making exclamations of surprise, or disbelief. I literally had to force myself to take my time and actually read some of the articles, for fear that I might be questioned about them. I did, however, have time to mull over exactly what had transpired with the blond haired man who had me wear the spectacles, drink the water, and display the photograph of Jinn/Shara. The glass was obviously for fingerprint verification, and the spectacles and the photograph could have been some form of retinal determination as well as observing the pupil size and its focus on certain elements of the photograph. I recalled from my college studies that tests conducted on males and females of photographs of the opposite sex showed that there are certain areas of the human body and a particular order that the eyes will focus on for male and female subjects. I didn't know precisely what the intent of these spectacles and the photograph of Jinn/Shara was, but I did feel confident that it did involve me and the woman in the photograph. After what seemed as though a numbing couple of hours, but in all actuality was undoubtedly somewhat less, the door behind me opened and I forced myself to refrain from turning to see who the footsteps belonged to. It was my intention to act as though I was so consumed in what I was reading that I was totally unaware of a visitor. "Brax, what are you doing so far from Ladeera?" the voice of Jinn/Shara asked. When she came within my vantage point, it was clear to me that this was the person I knew as Shara! It was also clear that since she addressed me as Brax, she was undoubtedly Jinn and originated in this alternate universe. Disturbing to me was the fact that I had been deceived into believing that she was the one I loved and was loved by; a sweet person living in Crescent City, California, working part-time as a waitress and going to the local community college. Although the suspicions I had entertained for some time had now been realized, and I was thankful that at least I now knew, I could not prevent the feeling that I had been kicked in the gut by a mule! It was of the utmost importance though, for my love of Dezz and concern for her, Brok, and I, that I present myself as the Royal man of privilege, Brax. I stood up and walked to the black colored, synthetically clothed, former love of my life and lied, "My love, thank the skies that bring the rain, you are safe. You cannot believe the dangers and hazards I have had in reaching you!" I held her close, and I could tell that she hesitated before finally putting her arms around me. "I don't understand why you were so concerned about me. Have you had a change in heart?" she asked, her voice straining and breaking up. I didn't know how to respond. Had the Brax of this universe and Jinn been close, and then something had happened? I didn't know, but thought that if I was non-specific enough, I might be able to fake it and pull off this ruse. I released my hand from around her, and stood just far enough away from Jinn that I could see her, and looking as intently as I was able, I began, "I was found deep inside a Channel Mover tunnel by a Manolith. I had been injured, and suffered a head injury causing amnesia. When I was taken to my Mod, I looked around to see if there was anything that would stimulate a recall of my marriage. When I came across your photo, my feelings of love and concern for you is all I could focus on. I searched for you, trying to contact you in every way possible. I ran up against wall after wall, and it was finally after offering funds to a disreputable sort that I was convinced that you were here, and my only concern was to get to you, make sure of your safety, and rescue you if that was needed. I'm so glad you are alive! Are you well?" "You're saying that you want to resume relations with me?" Jinn asked. "I'm not sure what happened before, and if I was responsible for any thing that led to a strain, or break in our relationship, I apologize, and desire to continue what we had, and making it better," I explained. "Oh Brax, are you sure?" she pleaded, her eyes welling with tears. "Yes, my darling, I'm sure," I lied, and then continued, "what have you been doing?" "We can discuss THAT later, I'm just so happy to have you back. I want you to clean up, shower and shave. I have clean clothes befitting you. I'll have them placed in the bathroom, and I'll be waiting in the adjoining bedroom for you! Come on, let's go," she joyfully proclaimed. "What about the ones I came with?" I asked as she grasped my hand and led me through one of the doors into a private luxuriously furnished bathroom. "We'll deal with those Slag later on, right now is our time, and I couldn't be happier!" she beamed. "I don't want them harmed, they've helped me," I insisted. "They'll be taken care of Brax, don't worry. The most important thing is that I've got my lover back," and she paused for a breath, "and my only brother!"
